Memorial Day Cookout

We hosted a cookout on Sunday May 25. I was expecting around 30ish people....but way more came. The more the merrier!! I bought a package of 50 plates that we went through quickly. I had to go inside to get more. The spread of food was amazing. It was such a good time....so good that I was up til 2:30 a.m. I haven't seen that time in long time.

My shirt reads "Yes I'm pregnant. It's a boy. I'm due in September. No, you may not touch my belly." Perfect!

Aubrey got me this shirt for my birthday. I thought it would be perfect for the cookout, especially since I am finally showing. I think my tummy popped out about 2 weeks ago. It is kinda nice feeling pregnant....I will probably take that back in a month or so.

Going Going Gone!

Our big beautiful tree had to be cut down b/c it was dead inside. It could have fallen on the house or on Odie. We didn't want either to happen especially with all the crazy weather (our house is a wind tunnel). Here are some pictures of the boys cutting it down. It is so sad :-(.

Happy Mothers Day to Me?

Well I didn't know the "mommys to be" got to celebrate this special day too! I had a great day spending time with both sides of my family. We had lunch at Medici with the Grieders (which if you haven't tried that place it is one of my favs!) then we were off to the Brands. Blake's present to me was flowers for my pots....but that didn't work out b/c of the yucky weather. Me and Baby G made out like bandits! I got some much needed maternity clothes and Baby G got a Carhardt jacket and bibs! They are so cute!!!!

Here he is! We get another sonogram next time b/c we couldn't get a side view and she didn't get all the necessary measurements. I am NOT complaining!!!!
