Thursday they got most of the subfloor done...

Friday they finished it. It is fun to walk around where things will be placed!

Rain Rain Go Away!

Clayton and I got home (with groceries) just before the crazy storm blew in and right as Blake was done grilling. So after we ate and the quick storm blew through we went to check out the house progress. Clayton got stuck in the mud on the way out...and was so upset! Look closely at the pics...his crocs are covered in mud...and he has chocoloate running down his face....priceless!

Blake is down in the basement checking out the water...which resulted in him cleaning the floor for 1.5 hours! (the hole is the where the staircase is)

Happy 1st Bday Henry!

Today Clayton and I went to Henry's 1st bday party! It was a baseball theme. Kelly had the place decorated so cute with even ball park food...hotdogs, nachos, cracker jacks, and popcorn! Henry did really good with his cake...as you can see he is licking his fingers...yummy!

He was happy but I think he was getting tired in this picture...

but opening presents made him happy!

More concrete...

As I was leaving to go meet Kelly at IKEA...the Swanson crew came to do our basement floors...

They were able to finish without any "pop" up storms today...woohoo!

So HOTT!

Today we went swimming at Grammie's pool. We invited Rhendy and Logan to come swim with us. The boys were sharing this Capri sun....or should I say Clayton was stealing it!

It is so hot out...Clayton got the sprinkler out all by himself.

Sat night Blake and I got a night out for Brynn's wedding! We had such a great time seeing friends we don't get to see that often. Look at that beautiful bride!

We even made it to the after party at Medici. We had such a great time...it makes me excited for Alisha and Matt's wedding!

Forms...

Today we have...

a sick boy! I think he has the flu bug and can't keep anything down! He has never sat on the couch like this watching television.

We got home from the Lake and found a surprise. The forms for the footing had already been done!

Day Two!

So for lunch today we ventured out to Bear Bottoms! This was the first time Blake, Clayton, and I had ever been there. Since we all weren't that hungry we shared the nachos....look at these things! Now they kinda make me sick just looking at them...but at then time they were tasty. We finished about 1/4 of it. So note to self...don't order the whole order...just 1/2!

This place was super cool b/c they had this huge waterslide! Of course no doubles....but Clayton, Taylor, and I enjoyed the little pool behind the bar.

MMM...now thats better....a kiddie cocktail from Gramie! I was addicted to those when I was little!

Then we got home and jumping began....look at that. Uncle Matt helped him get some height...and Sean caught him probably 50 times....maybe more. I think he was sore the next day!

Swimming ended with Clayton swimming...he is quite the fishy!

We got a night out with my sibling that night....at night boat ride to Larry's on the Lake...formerly Captain's Galley. What a good time!
