Big Momma....

Today I had my 29 week appt with Dr. Dameron.  I was wondering how I would meaure today b/c my stomach is HUGE.  I am not sure when it happened....but I am starting to hit the uncomfortable stage.  Yuck!

At the appt today my stomach is measuring 33 weeks....hmmm...this pregancy is really starting to remind me of mine 1st with Clayton.  At this point with him I think I was measuring 35 weeks.  I have also been struggling this week with "woozy" spells.  This baby girl is sucking the life out of me...just like Clayton did!  Dr. D said I needed to eat before I go to bed and first thing in the morning.  This might sound fun to some....but really it isn't.  It is hard for me eat more....but I guess I will enjoy it while I can.  I am suppose to eat protein...does peanut butter ice cream count? ha!

Happy Fathers Day!

We celebrated Father's Day first at Patty and  Denny's, then at my parents.  I kept trying to get a good picture of Blake and Clayton, but it just wasn't happening.  We didn't pack suits to swim b/c it wasn't very nice out....well Clayton saw some older kids swimming.....so he wanted to go up there.  He kept busy squirting people.  He kept getting his daddy.  Clayton has really become Blake's shadow.  He loves to do and help Blake with whatever he is doing.

I guess he needed a little break!  Poor guy wanted to swim so bad.

This is Clayton's stinker face....he kept looking at me then throwing stuff in the pool....no wonder Blake and I call him "STINK" short for stinker....b/c he is one!

To cute not to post.  He has it down!  (sorry mom)

Then we went to my parents for a relaxing evening.  Clayton didn't have a nap so he was content watching Charlotte's web....so that meant some relaxing time for me!  I think I am starting to enter the uncomfortable prego stage...yuck!

Calvin is 5!!!!

One of Clayton's best buddies turned 5!  Clayton was the youngest invited to the party and boy did he have fun.  He tries to just keep up with the big boys.  Poor Kelly filled a million water ballons for all the kids.

Clayton would get a balloon and start yelling for Calvin so he could throw it at him... Calvin didn't mind.

then he figured out he could pop them with his mouth....

All the kids got in line for the Pinatta!  Clayton was after Calvin b/c he was the youngest.  Calvin was trying to explain to him to stay behind him.  Clayton hasn't quite mastered the standing in line concept.

He was so excited.  Look at all the cute kids.  They all did such a good job hitting it!  Of course Calvin broke it open!

Clayton had a great time at the party!  It was so fun to watch him try to keep up with the 5 year old boys, he did a really good job.  I can't believe Calvin is 5 already!  Time flies!

Cornbelters!

Friday night at the Cornbelters game it was Grieder night (they do the landscaping for the stadium)...so we went to the game b/c Denny had tickets for the Presidental suite.  I was impressed with how nice and clean the whole stadium was.  With building a house last summer we never made it to a game.  Clayton watched the game for a little bit...

he was really excited.....especially when he saw the bounce houses...he kept asking and asking to go jump!
Finally I gave in and took him.  He saw a couple friends from school and jumped with Evan and Megan.  He was cutting in line and sneaking in the wrong way.  He was watching the older kids do it!
I finally talked him into getting his face painted.  He couldn't decide what he wanted so we did a baseball....he wanted blue!  Look at how tired he is...
Right after these pics we had to leave b/c Clayton was turning into Mr. Cranky pants...he slept in the next morning until 8:45!
Cute Meggie with her pink flowers!

We've graduated...

We've graduated....

At least I feel like we have!  We had our fun filled day of dr. appt's in Peoria yesterday.  Cardio then maternal fetal.  At the cardio appt everything looks the same.  Her heart function is the same and nothing has changed.  This is awesome!  Dr. Shah wanted to monitor changes that is why we have been going every 2 weeks....but since she is so stable we don't have to go back for 4 weeks.  YES!

After that appt....Blake and I grabbed lunch at the Spotted Cow...yummo!  I was going to get a chicken wrap...and Blake talked me into getting a tenderloin....oh the joys of preganacy! It was amazing....

At Dr. Leonardi's office (maternal fetal) I got to be the guniea pig on a brand new sonogram machine.  I got a DVD and a CD of our baby girl!  He said everything looks the same and I have to go back in 4 weeks.  So this appt was fun b/c we got to see our baby girl.  She looks alot like Clayton except maybe for a skinner face (more like mine).  She is measuring right on track.

this is the reg level 2 sono...

here she is!  This is the 3D picture.  This is the best one of her face....she has hands...don't worry it is just how the technician was able to get the best face picture.  They have to remove extra "stuff" so maybe that is what happened to her hand....how knows.  You can't see it in this picture, but it looks like she has long skinny legs and long fingers/toes.  Isn't she cute?

Today I had to see Dr. Dameron for my glucose test.  It wasn't to bad....with all that is going on I am really enjoying the "Normal" appts.  My stomach is measuring 29 weeks at 27....so I wonder if she will be big too.  She is measuring right on track....so we will see!

I feel pretty close with the nurse and Dr. D with all that is going since I talk to them all the time.  It is nice to have a dr. you trust so much.  Actually I trust and like all of them.  We are in good hands!  Keep the thoughts and prayers coming...they are working!

Turtles and Alligators!

Clayton's school had some creatures come visit....a turtle...

 a little alligator.....

and a really big one as Clayton would say!

He will tell you all about them if you ask...but really since I was there he just wanted to show off to his friends and run around.  We had a couple potty breaks....he wasn't interested in the show.  He did like the turtle....to bad he was to chicken to sit on it!

Overcast and chilly!

Day 2 was overcast and chilly! Notice the sweatshirt...brr.

We all decided to go to Fish and Co. for lunch to get out of the house for a little bit!

Blake was showing Clayton all of the.....

gross fish below.....they make me squim!  They are cool to feed though.

After lunch Clayton found a horsey to ride....

what a stink....

of course my mom had to join in the fun!

The sun finally came out during Clayton's nap time which meant one happy momma!

I am ready for the next trip!  Clayton was such a good boy.  It is amazing what a difference a year makes, with listening and understanding......even naps!  We are blessed to have such a little sweetie (even though he can be the biggest stink sometime!)

First lake trip 2011!

Clayton, Blake, my Dad, and I made it down to the Lake Thursday night.  Blake and my dad went and got a new (amazing) dock ladder. Clayton and I had alot of fun "helping" them attach it....or I guess we were waiting to try it out.  Clayton is hiding behind a pole here....seriously so cute!

what a happy boy!

I could eat him up in the picture.  My mom and Kathi arrived and we went to Captain Ron's for dinner.  Clayton was patiently waiting to go on his first boat ride of the season!

We got to Captain Ron's and this entertained Clayton while waiting for our food...pouring everyone water.

not sure if people wanted it after he was doing this....

Mom and Kathi...

Blake and I....and we match...oops!  Perfect for a photo though :-)

Clayton giving me kisses.  I will cherish pictures like this forever!

We had a great beautiful first day!

Our first waterpark adventure...

Well yesterday fellow prego Rhendy texted me to see if Clayton and I could go swimming with them on Tuesday.  It didn't take me long to decide to ditch work and take my baby swimming!

Clayton seriously had the best time....going down the slide a 100 times....

and playing with Logan.  It was so cute, they definitly made sure to stay together, which made it easy on the mommas!

I did get asked if I was having twins....seriously?  I am not even that big yet.
I would say it was a successful trip.  Can't wait for the next one.

Next time I know that when 1:30 hits we need to leave.  Clayton threw the biggest fit, Logan was a good boy...probably scared of how C was acting!  It was one of those proud parenting moments....aahhhh....the life of a 2.5 year old is so tough sometimes!
