Ready for a night on the town...

Or should I say ready for Aunt Alisha's and Matt Jones wedding!  Matt reminded me we needed to get Clayton fitted for the wedding.  Clayton LOVED trying his tux on...this one in the picture is to small....so we didn't even try the pants on...he knew he looked handsome.  I can't wait for the wedding!  I am getting more excited everyday...it will be here soon!

Mommy did you know...

That santa lives in the snowglobe?  And that our house is here and Grammie/Papa's house is here?  He loves this snowglobe at my mom's....must be magical to him!

We MOVED!

We moved the day after Thanksgiving...and gosh it was a whirlwind! I have never been so exhausted in my whole life! With about 15 people helping us move....it went very smooth!

Welcome to our shower...it has to shower heads. It is like being on vacation and taking a fabulous shower...we love it!

the upstairs bath...Alisha and I made this shower curtain too....it used to be our duvet cover! I just couldn't find anything I was happy with...so I made it. Super easy!

We are loving the new house. Our favorite things are the water pressure suprisingly! Laundry on the 1st floor is amazing....it is also nice to sleep without a draft blowing on your head. ha!

Thanksgiving

We actually had a nice and relaxing Thanksgiving with meals with both sides of our family. We tried to relax b/c tomorrow we are MOVING! I can't believe it.....

Clayton and Marin play so good together, they really love each other. It is so neat to watch them!

While I am packing....

Clayton has been getting in and out of everything! At least he is keeping busy....looks like I need to clean the glass in that cabinet...don't you love baby handprints?

Bridal shower!

We themed Alisha's shower around her wedding shoes. They are purple...but not as bring as the boas. Our bmaid dresses are dark purple as well.

We played the game where if she got a question wrong she had to put a piece of gum in her mouth. It was really funny....her cheeks are full!

Thanks all for coming! We all appreciated you coming out and celebrating Alisha's marriage with us! It was a great time.

Old School...really!

Clayton, Blake, my parents, and I went to Olympia to watch Sean play basketball. The basket ball program was having this "old guy" game for fundraiser. It was really fun to watch! Next year I totally want to get a cheerleading squad together and cheer.....I would love it!

I tried really hard....ha! I had to post this b/c he looks scared to death b/c I am holding his head. I guess he was to interested in the game...which is a good thing!

I hope someday Clayton is out there playing ball....I can't wait for those days!

Alisha's first bridal shower

Carol hosted Alisha's first shower...and look at the cake! Of course it was strawberry...Alisha's favorite!

Clayton was with me b/c Blake was coming home from the Ozarks. He had a blast and even found a "Matt Jones" truck as he called it.

The Four Brand Girls. :-) We are excited for Alisha's 2nd bridal shower this coming weekend!

Now there are FOUR Brand Girls!

Well my brother popped the big question last night! There are officially FOUR Brand girls now. Blake, Clayton, and I were all watching Cougar Town and suddenly the happy couple came "barging" in to show us the rock. I have to say I am pretty impressed with my brother for picking out the gorgeous ring all by himself. I am also impressed with myself for not telling my sister about the "inkling" I have been having about this happening soon!

We couldn't be happier to welcome another member to the family. They are thinking the big day will occur around this time next year! My poor dad.....ha!

Asthma...

Well Clayton offically has asthma. I always hoped my child would never have asthma...watching my brother and husband battle with it for their entire lives. It really isn't that big of a deal...just something scary! Dr. Boe said if a child has 3 episodes they are considered asthmatic...well we have definitly exceeded 3!

Clayton didn't sleep at all last night and was just hysterical. We had to get up twice to give him his treatments (it felt like we had a new born again!)....once the treatment started he would instantly relax!

Off to his school to give him another treatment! Reason 275 why we send Clayton to Alphabet Soup...he is so close to me...it is no big deal if I want to run and see my baby!

I hope tonight goes better and my little man can breathe w/out sounding so raspy!
