Circus...
So yes Minier did have a real circus...no one at work believed me....but they did. Our friends had us over for a cookout before the circus. We decided not to go b/c the last show was from 7-9....which is way past Clayton's bed time. As you can see below....we had a blast anyway. Blake was pushing Clayton down the driveway and turning him around at the end. He was going so fast with a huge smile the whole time. It was so funny! Near the end I noticed his pedipeds (leather shoes) were getting ruined on his tippy toes from dragging his feet. Boys will be boys....big or small :-).

Henry Allen is here!
My BF Kelly had her baby boy Tuesday night. (I was right again!) It was so much fun to receive the labor updates via text message throughout the night. Henry finally arrived late Tuesday night. He was 7lbs 7 oz. and 19.5 in long. Mom and baby are doing well. I plan to go see Clayton's new best buddy on sat....so wait for some pics!

Stanford Good Old Days

I made it back from the wedding in time for the Good Old Days Porkchop supper and fireworks! The porkchops were amazing (I was so hungry from doing wedding stuff all day)! We got to watch the fireworks together this year. It seems like I am either gone during this celebration or Blake is off doing his fireman stuff. So it was nice to enjoy them together...especially with Clayton. He LOVED them. He just stared at them and then fell asleep. What a good little guy!Wedding Weekend!

One of my favorite friends Rhendy got married this past weekend. I guess my role was kind of the wedding coordinator. I pretty much did whatever was necessary....take pictures, watch Logan, pick up, take trash out, drive the wedding party.......you get the picture. I had a lot of fun hanging out with friends and celebrating their wedding!!!! I know Rhendy and Chad will have a great life together!Summer Fun!

10 months...
All I have to say is WOW! So much has changed in the last week of our lives. We offically have a mobile child who is into everything!!! Sometimes it seems like all I say to the poor kid is no no no. Now I am starting to realize what baby proofing actually means. No books on the coffee table, nothing little sitting around, clean floors at all times....the list is really endless. My newest worry is my glass kitchen knobs. When I designed my kitchen I thought they were absolutely perfect....but now am realizing how dumb they are for a little one that pulls up on everything! I am afraid they are going to break and slice his hands....so we are extra careful in the kitchen. Clayton likes to pretend to cook, which actually means take a spoon and bang a pan as loud as he can! Grandma Cyndee taught him that one.
What else is Mr. Clayton up to these days... He is fighting an ear infection. My good little sleeper has been gone for a week or so....so I knew something was up. And sure enough an ear infection. He is on medicine and good to go. At the doctor he is weighing in at 24lbs. No wonder my arms are constantly sore....what a good workout for me!
He wears 18 month clothes and some 2T shirts. Wearing size 4 diapers. Eating is his favorite! He likes eggplant, zuchinni, hotdogs, peaches, blueberries, applesauce, baked beans, cherrios, puffs, cottage cheese, and....the list is endless. He usually tries whatever we are eating for supper which makes it easy on me!
His top two teeth are coming in. That is such a challenge. Teething is for the birds! I always feel so bad for him. To ease the pain we like to share popsicles :-).
We have a busy weekend ahead....a wedding (Rhendy's) and the Good Old Day's celebration. Since Blake is assistant fire chief he is in charge of the pork chop supper. Everyone should come out for it! Also (I know suprising) they have amazing fireworks.
Clayton gets compliments at least once a week for being the smilest happiest baby people have ever seen. That makes me so proud....we are so lucky to have such an awesome little boy (he is not such a baby anymore) ! :-)

Big Guy...Little Guy
The boys wore their shirts home from the lake. I forgot to take a pic until we got home. Patty gave these to Blake for fathers day! I never did a fathers day post...so here it is! I love my two guys...big and little :-).

Happy 4th!
Clayton in his little pool on the dock. He loved playing with his sunglasses and squirty toys. I think he really enjoyed being naked.
After we were done playing I was getting ready to put a diaper on him to go on the boat. I stood him up to dry him off.....and he peed on me! I just couldn't stop laughing....how gross!
Clayton's first boat ride. As you can tell he is exhausted.....we pulled out of the dock.....and he was out! He slept the entire time...how soothing is that!
Overall we had a great time....the WHOLE "B" Fam was there and we all had fun sharing Clayton Jay's first lake trip. Hopefully next time the weather will be bettter!

My first time in the Lake
Trying out his new life jacket.....I was excited to get him one at the Walmart at the Lake. I was disappointed in their selection...it was the same as the one here. I think he liked it....he didn't fuss once.
We dipped his toes and he went nuts to go in the water. So I ran up to the house and got his stuff so he could take his first dip EVER in the Lake. HE LOVED IT!!!
Clayton and Auntie Tay....smiles, smiles, and more smiles.
Gilliam's porch swing
Auntie Tay is teaching the little one to stick out his tongue.....okay he already knew how to do it...but he is doing a good job being a little mimic. Nothing is cuter then baby feet. To bad the Gilliam boys weren't down this weekend to play on the swings....but we enjoyed them. Next time...
Watch me guys...
