Potty Potty Potty.....

I have to say....my little man is impressing me lately! When I go to change his diaper he is always dry! Pooping...that is another issue. I guess he went #2 at school yesterday on the potty and it scared him to death.

Today I picked him up from school later then normal (crazy busy at work!) and his teachers said that he needed to go in and probably go potty. Instead we headed home b/c I always have a million things to do.....we went and played at the new house...played on the gator for 1.5 hours. We went inside...he was still dry! He went potty on the potty....so then I decided lets try big boy undies! He was in them for 1.5 hours..ate dinner, played with no accident! I couldn't believe it. Then he went potty for me again right before his bath.

**Update**

He is still dry when he wakes up in the morning and after his nap. Most of the time he is dry....so i guess now we just need to work on the pooping part!

Busy Busy Boy...

Clayton is always staring out the window watching whatever is going on....always wanting to go outside....

Then he found an old pager of Blake's as I was going through drawers throwing stuff away. He knew right where to put it!

Finally Uncle Sean came in to see Clayton. I love the John Deere vs. Case sweatshirts...to cute!

All day Clayton kept saying...."Momma...Come here" he grabs my hand and tell me he wants to "Vacun" So I let him. It is just so funny b/c when he was about a year he was scared to death of the "Vacun."

House Update...

Master shower finally framed in....yes it will have two shower heads. I am so excited for the master bath. Blake and I will have our own sinks...right now we are always "fighting" over sink space in the morning. We can't wait!

The drywall crew worked late every night this week. Ricky even said it would take 3 days and it took 5. He also said the "cool looking ones take longer." Blake and I loved hearing that. :-)

Blake has been working late every night....so he got home right before bed...so we all made a trip out to the new house. Clayton loves watching the work get done!

Clayton's 2 year checkup

I had to take Clayton in to see Dr. Boe today...and finally he didn't cry once...okay I have to take that back. He cried at the end when he got his flu shot! I didn't even think about him getting shots today....poor baby! At least I was ready with snacks and a sippy!

His 2 year old stats are:

Height: 35 1/2 inches 75%

weight: 31.6 lbs 90%

I think the nurse may have these %'s flip flopped...b/c Clayton is a skinny boy....hmm maybe he is just all muscle....ha!

Alisha's KC Bacherlorette Party!

Since Alisha went to school at KU what better place to have her bachelorette party then KC! We got there Friday night and stayed at Keili's house...we had a great cookout and relaxing evening. The next day everyone relaxed then we went to a local winery. It was yummy! The other crew from BLM meet us at the winery!
We all got ready at the hotel in KC and had the shower. Alisha got a lot of awesome gifts and it was fun! The new "Mrs. Jones." Nice ring to it huh?

Then we all went to dinner....the BLM crew.

The Kappa Delta....KC girls! Our night started out at Howl at the Moon!
Where we got Alisha on the piano! We all pitched in to get her up there...it was awesome! The night was so much fun 15 girls and no drama...I couldn't believe it. The 6 hour drive home was not a fun one the next morning!

2 years already?

Today Clayton is TWO! WHAT? I still can't believe it…Two years ago he came into this world…..what did I do without him? The past couple of days I have actually had some time to myself because C man is obsessed with riding in the combine with Daddy or Poppa…it is these times when the house is silent that I think and what did I do without him? Sure he is NO phase, not listening phase, and being a complete stinker phase, but that doesn't compare to the sweet little boy he is most of the time! I have discovered I don't like a quiet house….unless Clayton is napping…then that is okay! :-)

He offically got moved to the two year old room at school last week. He has been visiting on and off for a couple months now…but he has finally transitioned! He loves his new room/teachers/friends. The Two room means Let the Potty Training Begin! He does pretty well going potty on the potty when he feels like it, no number 2 yet! He also almost always wakes up with a dry diaper! That is a good sign right?

Lets see…Clayton's favorites are Blake and I of course, farming, tractors, his nonnies (not sure where he got that from but they are his blankets), Georgie (Curious George), John Deere movies, Odie, fruit snacks, nap time (yes he is that good of a sleeper), OUTSIDE, Wonder Pets, Handy Manny, trucks, Moo's (cows), sippy, swimming, bath time, school, the itsy bitsy spider, ……the list is endless. He is our happy guy (when he isn't throwing a 2 yr old fit!).

Clayton Jay is the best little boy in the whole world! There is nothing better then being a mom, getting kisses from him, and hearing I love you come out of his little mouth!

COMBINE!

Today was Clayton's first combine ride of the year...he was so excited. I packed snacks for my boys...mainly to keep Clayton busy....but I don't think he needed it!

I love this picture...

I was taking pictures as they were getting ready to leave....and Blake accidently smashed Clayton's fingers in the combine door...you can see the black latch sticking out...ya that is what got him. You can see tears running down his face. But that didn't stop him...he rode for 1.5 hours and didn't want to get out. I have a feeling this is only the beginning!

Moo Moo I'm Two...

Sunday we celebrated Clayton's 2nd birthday at my parents with family and friends. The theme as you can see from the banner is "Moo Moo I'm Two." I had cow print ballons but somehow forgot to pics of them. He has been obsessed with cows and now John Deere everything. When we drive down the road it is always....MOO MOO, John Deere, Tractor, COMBINE (he always says combine with a lot of excitement), Wagon, Auger Wagon, big truck....he is getting really good at all the "trucks."

"My gator"

Clayton's present from the grandparents and us was a GATOR! He saw it and instantly said "my gator!"

Look at how happy he is sitting in it!

I am sure I will be spending alot of time with him driving it outside....

He needs to work on his driving skills.
