Sorry....I will post pictures this weekend.....I have been busy at work with month end approaching and trying to get everything done before i am gone.....and cleaning the carpets....and the list is really endless with my craziness to get ready for the baby.
Anyway, I went to the doctor on Tuesday and now my stomach is measuring at 40 weeks! My baby boy is big and ready to come out...and so is his mommy and daddy. I have started trying to take long walks to get dilated. I am 50-60% thinned already though, so hopefully I will start dilating soon. Dr. Dameron still wants him to be born around Sept. 9th.
We also got our maternity pictures taken yesterday....so hopefully those will be online soon for everyone to see!

35 or should I say 38 week appointment!
Well after the sonogram we officially have a BIG baby boy on our hands. Per all the measurements the expected due date should be 9/2/08.....so he is measuring at 38 weeks (and so is my stomach) and weighs 7 lb 4 oz! I cannot believe he is that big. You could tell the sonogram technician was amazed when she came in to tell us the weight.
I am not dilated at all yet, but Dr. Dameron is pretty sure she would like him to be born at 38 weeks which would be around Sept. 9. She thinks my body can handle a big baby, but she doesn't want that for me (and neither do I). So.......if I am dialted by then she wants to induce and if not we will probably do another sonogram then talk about a c-section. I guess if they induce and you are not dilated that usually your body isn't ready and it causes a c-section anyway. (I really do not want a c-section....so pray to get me dilated!!)
He is in the correct fetal position with his head down facing my back. Since he is in this position we couldn't see his face :-(. We got to see that he has hair...now the question remains....is it going to be black or blonde? Also, he is practicing breathing really well, so his lungs are developed and I think he is ready to come meet his parents :-). We are so excited we couldn't even eat lunch after the appointment!!!

33/34 week appt
This summer just keeps flying by! I am now at 34 weeks which is a little scarey. Last week was my first swollen foot episode that continues to come and go. It is just my right foot, which I am assuming is from the baby being more on my right side. He is moving all the time and waking me up in the middle of the night. Blake couldn't believe how much he could feel him last night....I really think he is a big boy.
We will find out how big he is in 2 weeks at our next sonogram appointment. As of now my stomach is measuring 36 weeks...so it is slowing down a little bit....thank god! Everything else looked good!
We have been so consumed with baby showers (look for some pics soon...we had a great time), the bathroom (almost done!), and getting the house ready for the new little guy.
I am looking forward to tonight to relax with the fam at the Peoria Chief's game....I just hope it is not to hot!
