Sprinkle!

My Mom and lovely Sisters through a Sprinkle for me and Baby Girl!  This was kinda like a baby shower, with no games, just food/drinks and my closest friends!  Sorry these posts are posts of prego me...I need to steal the pics off my mom's camera for some friends pics.

well hello 34 weeks!  I am HUGE!  See why the doctors are concerned...I might pop at any moment.

of course a farm girl needs some pink carhardts!

and an Illini tutu (with matching bow of course)!  Can't wait for some pics of her in this!

love the crab towel!  I can't wait to snuggle her in this towel after some baby lotion....yummy!

and I think she is all set for this halloween!

Thanks everyone for celebrating with me....It was so nice to have all my girls together, since this summer has flown by and it seems like I haven't seen any of them!

HUGE...

44 weeks.....

my stomach at 33.5 weeks is measuring 44 weeks.  I feel HUGE, but not that big!  Two weeks ago I was measuring 37 weeks, so I have gotten bigger with no weight gain.  I can't believe that.  No wonder I feel dizzy and can't stand for long periods of time b/c the baby is sucking the life out of me.  Dr. D. said I am probably eating less b/c I have so much extra fluid (making my stomach so big) plus a big baby, so she is taking everything from me.  I guess that means more ice cream.

She hooked me up to the stress machine...no contractions!  I do have some Braxton Hicks, but nothing bad!  So I am suppose to continue to rest and not pick up my 37 lb child.  I am not swollen yet either, so everything is in my favor for now....I just need to rest and let her "cook" as long as possible.  I have a feeling my body isn't going to make it until Sept 6th.  Dr D. said she ususally doesn't see people get this big until the very end with twins!  what???  Seriously.....at the end with Clayton I was measuring 42 weeks at 39 weeks, but not at 33.5 weeks.  I hope I can wear a bikini again....

So I guess I need to relax, which you would think was easy....but not for me.  I can't sit down!  aaahhhh!  This heat isn't helping out either....the joys of pregnancy!

Clayton 2 years 9 months

I took Clayton to the doctor today for a well baby check.  I think he was suppose to go at 2.5, but we just made it there at 2  years 9 months!

His stats:

weight 37.2 lbs
height 39 inches

both 90%....not suprising!  Dr. Boe was very impressed with his vocabulary and his potty training.  I would say he is 90% potty trained....this week closer to 100%.  He just has some occasional number 2 accidents when he is to busy playing....other then that....he is great!

He wears size 3T pants, 4T shirts, 4T pj's (some 5T), size 9-10 shoe

Clayton has a lot of new phrases he says alot....

"not right now"
 "i love you so much"
"where I going today" (every morning he wasts to know the plan)
"when baby sister comes out I play with her"
"cover ups"  (he likes his blankets in bed)
"its not going" (refering to not being able to pee)
"do you like....."  (he always wants to know if you like whatever he likes...this is always a very serious question that involves a head tilt)
he is really into telling us who is a boy or girl.  he even knows Casper and Odie are boys.
we have been talking alot about last names, he knows our immediate families first and last names
"i not bad boy"  (he is very effected if you call him a bad boy...hurts his feelings)
"I want to watch my shows"  we only let him watch tv after supper/bed....he gets to involved before supper so we started this new routine and it works out great!  He loves Bubble Guppies and Umi Zoomi....along with Dora, Diego, Wonder Pets, Blue Clues....pretty much all shows!

He is still taking great afternoon naps and sleeping well at night.  He still wears pull-ups to bed, but has been dry for a month straight...I think it is time to make the switch to big boy undies at night!

I can't believe my baby will no longer be my baby anymore....crazy!

This heat....

is killing me...so what do Clayton and I do....we go swimming!  Today Logan and Lynley joined us (and Rhendy and Alisha!).  The boys were having noodle fights....gotta start early.

Clayton can now jump in all by himself...in the past week he went from being clingy in the water to swimming/jumping all by himself!  Truly a fishy....

Rhendy and I decided that these two act like brothers....they play so nice and get in a little fights just like brothers.  They were so excited to swim together today!

telling secrets!  Or devising some kind of plan....who knows with these two!

Sweet baby Lynley....didn't make a peep the whole time!  She was awake to join the fun for a while.  I am ready for my baby girl to be here!

So if you can't find Clayton and I....stop by Patty's pool....that is where you will find us!

Bruiser...

Clayton's 2nd black eye.  Not really a good story behind why it happened....he was running at school and triped and fell and hit the play kitchen.  The teachers felt felt so bad, my response...he is a boy!

what a cute little bruiser!

The Good Old Days...

Saturday was Stanford Good Old Days.  Blake being Assitant Fire Chief is always very busy getting ready for the porkchop supper.  Clayton got to go for his very first.....fire truck ride!

He was in awe the whole time....

was talking non-stop.....

and kept wanting Blake to do the siren!

The assitant fire chief....and his assistant.

After the ride we went down the park for the kiddie tractor pulls.  Clayton was to shy to do it, but we watched Evan pull his little heart out!

Megan of course was dolled up in her crown....so cute!

the kids had fun playing on the gator.  It is really funny b/c everyone brings their gators in to town and drives them around and it is legal to do it!

Blake had to get going so Clayton decided to play on the Old fire truck....

he was being such a stinker...

I couldn't stand the heat any longer, so Clayton, Taylor, and I went swimming....then came back into town for the porkchop dinner, gator rides, and fireworks.

If you have never seen Stanford's fireworks....you are missing out.  They are seriously better then anything I have ever seen....including at the Ozarks.  During the finale I had to squint b/c there were so many and they were so bright...and Clayton covered his eyes!  As Clayton would say....they were amazing!

Holy Sh$tballs!

Today I had an appt with Dr. Dameron.  I love the normal appt's.  They are so fun....and anything that means not driving to Peoria is fun in my mind these days.

Right when she walked in the room (after reading my report from yesterday) she was shocked at how much amino fluid I had.  She checked my chart with Clayton and I was on the high end of normal with him (around 25) but with baby girl I am severly abnormal (36).....HMMM....maybe that is what I am measuring so big.  She also confirmed that I need to rest and not pick up Clayton.....aaahhh!  That is going to be so hard for me!

She meausured my "bump" and I am measuring 37 weeks...my response was "Holy Sh$tballs!"  I knew I was big but not that big.  With Clayton I was measuring 35 weeks....see here.  I thought for sure I was bigger with Clayton....nope!  Dang it.

Oh Baby Girl will be here Sept 6th!  My C-Section is scheduled.  I decided to go ahead and schedule b/c of how I/baby is/are measuring and to just have a date!  This way all the doctors will be ready for her to come into this world!

Tonight Clayton touched my stomach and looked up at me and said "Mommy when baby Sister come out I play with her."  what a sweetie.

He has been really into giving baby sister kisses (kissing my belly)....I think it being so big has finally made him realize his sister really is in there.  At this point we are all really excited to meet her!

31 week appt...

Well today was the day for my all day fun in Peoria.  When I say all day...I truly mean it and expect to be there from 9-3 p.m.  The usual.  Even though I have appt's one doctor is off doing something somewhere and I have to come back to see them or whatever....I really don't mind.  I guess I just know what to expect now.

Anyway...My first appt was at the cardio dr.  I got my usual fetal echo...where everything looks the same!!!  This is really good.  After I got the scan Dr. Shah was busy so I went upstairs to my next appt instructed to come back down to see the Dr. again when I was done.

Next Perinatology...the fun one!  I got another hour sonogram and these are the best pictures we could get.
Look she has hair!  (See the fuzziness on the back of her head?)  It acutally looks like she has a lot of hair.

Here is her face pretty much covered by her arm.  Her face was tucked up under my hip bone and her arm was up by her head....so you couldn't see her face!

I am only 31 weeks, but she is measuring 33/34 weeks.  I guess we like to grow them big!  She is 4lbs 12 oz already....My stomach is measuring really big too.  Dr. Gross said...you are really big.  Well I found out it is because I have a TON of aminotic fluid.  The really only concern is that my body thinks I am way my prego then I should be b/c my uterus is more streched, which could cause preterm labor.  I was really big with Clayton as well and never dialated so I am not overly worried, but still am....great another thing to worry about.  We want her to cook in there as long as possible!  So....more resting for me!  Probably a good thing I sit on my butt all day at work in front of a computer.  It is just really hard for me to sit when I get home....and not pick Clayton up....tear!

Finally I ended the day with a quick sandwhich and stopping in for another quick echo at the heart dr.  Dr. Shah (heart dr) was really happy to hear that she was already 4lbs 12 oz!  I think she should only be around 3lbs right now.  There still is no plan for surgeries at this point b/c they can't see everything they really want to see at this point.  He said they should know within 2 hours of her birth the plan of attack...crazy!

We got back in two weeks to check my amino fluid levels, another quick heart scan, and a tour of the NICU.  Blake and I are excited to get the tour....

The best part about living in the country....

Clayton was playing in Uncle Sean's jeep....

about and hour before he had a hurt belly....he told me his belly hurt but I was to busy taking pictures....which led to an explosion accident.....(poor baby)

which lead to clean up with the hose!

the joys of country living!

Happy Fourth!

The day started off with jet ski rides again...

and all day floating!  It was SO BUSY out b/c of the holiday.  We just swam around the lake house and had a great time.  After not taking naps the 2 days prior...Clayton was exhausted and took a good nap....which meant momma got some relaxing sun time!!!

Hello 30 weeks!

The snap and pop fun continued before dinner after C's bath.

After dinner (and a time out) it was time for fishing.

of course the little buddies (and their Mom and Dad) came over to watch/set off (blow up) fireworks.

We had a great time watching fireworks on the dock.  After fireworks were over it was time for the little boys to go to bed...then party time.  Okay not really for me....being pregnant chasing a 2.5 year old is exhausting.  I actually feel asleep with Clayton when I was putting him to bed.

Sadly, this is our last trip to the Lake this year.  With all the dr. appts it is hard to take much more time off work and I want to save my PTO...and the dr's don't want me traveling past 32 weeks....so we are home bound for the rest of the summer.  We had a great time with my family...until next year :-(
