Say Yes to the Dress...

Say Yes to the dress....the funny thing is we were saying yes to a dress that wasn't even hers! Ha! We went wedding dress shopping for Alisha on Saturday. She tried on probably 12 dresses...and of course she picked the last one. If I get the okay from her I will post the ones she didn't pick....the "one" will have to wait to be reveled until the big day.

He was so good for the 1 hour...after that he was ready to dance in the mirror and run. I guess I can't blame him any guy would be bored shopping for wedding dresses after an hour. HA!

Bath time fun!

Clayton's new bathtime trick is to "float" on his back. He likes to just lay there and relax...and of course do his "kicky kickies." I can't wait to take him swimming this summer.

18 months!!!

How is he 18 months already?

Clayton had his dr. appt on today. He stood on the scale like a big boy! The nurse had him show her his belly button so he would stand still. He loves that trick...

In two months Clayton has grown 1 inch and has gained 1.5lbs....I know it is because he went from drinking a ton of juice to drinking milk. At his 15 month appt. Dr. Boe said he was growing fine, but I was concerned about him not wanting to drink milk. He said not to worry....but I decided to try adding a tiny bit of Strawberry Nesquick (gotta love Nestle) to his milk......it worked! Now he doesn't even need the Nesquick and drinks a ton of milk!!! Milk does a body good.

Clayton is talking more and more everyday. Sometimes you can hear a word or too...but mostly just babbling. He loves going to school everyday and learns so much. Also, since it has been nice out he has been obsessed with going outside! Especially when daddy gets home!

He loves to give hugs and kisses. He also has been going to bed without snuggling with me to fall asleep. I think this was my fault b/c I love snuggling with my baby on the couch....but now at bed time he goes to bed and doesn't fuss! I could go on and on about Clayton.....Everyday is an adventure with him!

I can't believe she is ONE already. My fav part of 1st bday's is of course the cake! She did really good eating it....just dug right in!

She is such a little girl...her favorite things were clothes! She kept playing with them...to cute!

Clayton was giving Addy a bottle. Do you think that means he is ready to be a big brother? Ha ha...not quite yet...we have a few projects ahead of us!

Ahhh....a free day!

After the meeting were over Thursday morning we were free...we headed down to the Kodak theater where the Oscars were...we actually already down in this area doing a scavanger hunt like the "amazing race." That was so fun!

After we were done being tourists we headed up the the pool/club for some cocktails. This area was packed every night b/c it was a night club. It is where the E! R. Seacrest party was...

Overall we had a great time in Hollywood...I am beat and ready to come home! I miss my boys, especially the little one. I am lucky to work for such an amazing company to practically get free vacations! It does stink to have to travel sometimes to headquarters though....like I said before...I make the most of it!

Overall the hotel was awesome, the hot spot to be in Hollywood. I really liked staying there but some nights it was a pain to even get to my room with security everywhere, checking room numbers etc...there were just so many people there!

Oscars.....

So all the pics below are not of the hotel I am staying at. The interior design is amazing! I am getting inspired with the colors.....but it is a little to modern for my liking. Great design ideas for the new house...with the "moderness" toned down. I will take some pics of the real hotel and post below. I am sure my coworkers are sick of me saying...."Look at those pillows, look at that light fixture, the carpet is amazing, that coffee table is to die for," you get the picture!

Last night we arrived to see a red carpet....that of the Oscars! What?? The E! Entertainment Ryan Seacrest party was even at our hotel. We ate here last night and hung out in the lobby and never saw anyone famous....I think we missed them while we were eating. :-(. So since we didn't see anyone famous we tried to go up to the 12th floor to see them. The elevator opened and the security sent us right back down. We were in jeans....not appropriate attire for the Oscars....ha!

Doing well, Clayton and Blake are doing great. Nestle has been keeping me busy so I barely have time to write this post...which is good...keep my mind off missing my two boys! Wow this is hard, especially not being able to explain to Clayton that I am gone for work, not by choice! I knew being a working mom wasn't going to be easy, but I try to make the best of it and enjoy the experiences that come my way!
