Blake and I went to the U of I game this past weekend. It was awesome...it was so nice to be back on campus....it has been to long. We are planning to take Clayton next year to a football game...I can't wait!!!!

My mom's dog Belle had puppies a year and half ago... here they are! They are morkies (maltese/yorkies). Aren't they cute! The one on the fence is Carter (he passed away with liver problems) and the other one looking is "light face" her name is Maggie now. After the Carter incident my mom didn't want to do this ever again...I don't blame her!

4 month pics!

4 months old...

Clayton had his 4 month dr appt yesterday. I have been scrambling researching car seats thinking he was going to go to the appt and be 22 lbs and ready for a new one! Here are his stats:

18 lbs 6 oz 97%

27 inches long 97%

He is nice and proportioned!

I did a photo shoot with him on Sunday so keep checking for the photos! I took them with my Mom's zoom camera (nice terminology) that is not digital so I have to get them put on a CD...so it might be a couple days!

Clayton is still a good little nurser when he wants to be and also takes the bottle quite well (at daycare 9 oz with cereal...). He has been sleeping through the night for quite some time now! He takes good naps and is so smiley and happy when he wakes up. He loves his jumperoo and his play gym. He loves following Blake and I around the room with his eyes when we leave the room. He likes to touch our faces and hold hands or onto our clothes (I love that!). My mom says he likes his baby Einstein videos...but I haven't tried that yet. He does like to watch Mickey's clubhouse in his jumperoo and coo at the tv. That is pretty cute!

Dr. Boe says he is definitly teething...so let the fun continue! He also said he is definitly ready for solid foods. Blake and I are going to work on spoon feeding cereal for a couple of days then we will move to veggies.....yum! That should be exciting! My little man is growing up way to fast!

He is going to kill me when he gets older...

New game

Clayton is teething already. It is really not a fun experience. He either wants his hands/fingers or your fingers in his mouth at all times. Taylor discovered this new game when he kept sucking on her fingers. He has good days and bad....but the poor little guy is in pain. This night I did some white poking through and so did Tay so I know I am not crazy!

Jump-a-roo

Clayton loves his jump-a-roo. He loves to talk to the animals as he plays. He even likes to watch cartoons in it. He will play non stop for 30-45 mintues.


He even falls asleep in it. What a rough life!!

At home sick...

I am at home sick today which is really odd...I have never had to stay at home sick before b/c I am usually traveling somewhere and I get sick in a hotel. It is also very strange to be at home alone with out my baby Clayton. I might need to turn on his jumparoo to make me feel more at home...b/c it isn't the same without him. :-) I am getting some much needed rest, so hopefully I will be back to normal tomorrow.

Puppy Love.....

Even though Casper and Odie love Clayton.....I think Willie loves him more. Willie let Clayton lay on him (thanks to Aunt Alisha)....we tired with Casper and he kept running away.....and we haven't tried yet with Odie...even though I think my gentle giant would let us.
