31 week appt

On Tuesday I had my 31 week appointment. I was a little worried that Dr. Dameron would say that my stomach is now measuring around 38 weeks....but don't worry it is still at 35 weeks. What a relief! It is really starting to hit me that in two months we will get to meet our little bundle of joy. I am getting excited and of course nervous!

In all this anticipation I have been able to keep myself busy nesting.....which has definitly already started! The bathroom is getting remodeled....we primed it last night (FINALLY!), so hopefully it will be painted by this weekend. Then Blake will have to finish installing the vanity etc....then it is time to get the baby's room done. That is what I am the most excited for!

I am also looking forward to my upcoming showers to be able to spend time with friends and family. I know August will fly by and it hasn't even started yet......where did the summer go? I am also hoping for one last trip to the lake.....we will see if that happens!

My first baby shower!

My friend Kelly had a shower for me in Chicago with all of our friends from college. It was a nice and relaxing shower filled with amazing appetizers, blue soda (so cute), and alot of catching up. Alisha came with me....so we stopped at IKEA on the way home. I got some decor for the baby's room. I can't wait to put it all together!

Ozarks 2008

I finally have a little time to post some pictures...it is a little to hot for me outside if I am not in the water :-).

Mike and Jessica Deterding went down with us in June. Then we made it back for the 4th of July with Ali, Matt, Arin, and Abby. We had a great time (both times). I need to get some picutures from Ali from that trip. I only have some of us boating with the Krugers. Hopefully we can make it down one more time before I am not allowed to travel anymore.

A big baby boy!

Well it looks like we have a big baby coming...at least as of now anyway! At 29 weeks my stomach is measuring 35 weeks. The little guy (or should we say big) is measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule...so that means another sonogram at 36 weeks. I am not complaining with that! Dr. Dameron said my stomach could just be big b/c he is streched out...she said we will have to look at the trend. She also said that I haven't gained that much for how big he is. So that is also nice to hear. Everything looks good! Here are three pictures to look at...the first two are of him looking at you and the last one of his little foot.

On a side note, Blake as a twin weighed over 8 lbs....so it is all his fault if he ends up being a big boy!

It's been a while

The summer is such a busy time. To busy for me to be stuck in front of a computer (at work and at home!). We have been to the lake twice...both times were nice and relaxing...pics will be posted later.

I had my 27 week appointment 2 weeks ago. My stomach was measuring 30 weeks, so we will find out TODAY at the sonogram appointment how big my baby boy is. I keep thinking he is going to be big just like his daddy. We will see!
