My baby is growing up!

Clayton is now 7 1/2 months. He had his first ear infection two weeks ago (he weighed 21 lbs 12 oz)....since then Blake and I haven't heard him cry once. He is the happiest baby ever. As you can see he loves bath time. Now that he can sit up really well he loves to splash around and sometimes he even bends forward and puts his face in the water. what a fish!

His latest is playing with toys. I guess he has been doing that for quite sometime...but he keeps himself busy. He also loves sitting up (or being in his jumperoo) watching his Baby McDonald Baby Einstein video. Watch out we have another farmer or maybe landscaper on our hands! Check out his new jacket...how cute is that? We couldn't resist.


On Sunday he said his first word....I think I have heard it a couple times...but now he definitly says da da da da nonstop! We have been working so hard ma ma ma ma! He talks all the time and tells us stories. We love it.

He can also drink from a sippy cup now! He was showing a lot of interest in my water bottle over the weekend so I decided to give him a sippy cup of water. He picked it up right away and started drinking!!!!!

I know he is my baby....but he really is so happy and smiley. I get comments all the time from people especially when we are at Wal-Mart! He loves that place.....on Sunday he feel asleep in the cart....he is a true Grieder!!!

My little ham ball! What a ham....he was like this all day on Easter....with hardly any naps. I still can't believe the entertainer he has become!

Clayton's first birthday party for Evan Deterding! Clayton had so much fun with his friends, especially Megan Jo his g/f! Blake didn't have so much fun though....he was in the emergency room twice with Bursitis.....His knee was full of fluid that had to be drained. It is still not back to normal, it looks so weird!
